 We're part of the Maumee Valley Heritage Corridor, a non-profit organization committed to implementing a comprehensive resource plan for the Maumee Valley to educate citizens about the natural, economic, recreational, cultural and tourism resources that link the cities of Toledo and Fort Wayne and the numerous communities in-between. The Buckeye Trail is now open from Napoleon to Independence Park. The complete hike from the boat ramp on the Maumee River to Independence Dam is about 15 miles, but for those who don't care to travel that far, it would be a beautiful walk from the boat ramp through Myerholtz Park and it's only a half mile trek.
The Henry County Arts Council, located in downtown Napoleon, features monthly exhibits and artists and has a gift gallery where you can purchase remembrances of your visit to the area. The Arts Council sponsors various events during the year; visit their website for the latest information.
The Sandpiper is a 100 passenger cruise vessel located on the Maumee River in Toledo. The boat is available for public and private rides from May to October. They have mystery cruises, picnic lunch cruises, and lighthouse cruises as well as several other theme cruises. Visit their website for additional info.
